Concrete volume is reported in cubic yards, formwork in square foot contact area, and reinforcement by bar size, linear feet and weight in pounds. Every quantity is tied back to the mix design and PSI class the specifications call for, because a 3,000 PSI slab pour and a 5,000 PSI structural column are not the same line item on a bid.
